- Proficiency in Tanium: Hands-on experience in operating Tanium for security patching, compliance monitoring, and deployment tasks.
- Vulnerability Management: Deep understanding of vulnerability management practices, including scanning, reporting, remediation, and compliance tracking.
- Security Patching: Experience in the end-to-end process of identifying, prioritizing, and applying security patches across workstations.
- Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and resolve issues related to patch deployment, compliance failures, and workstation security.
2. Coordination and Project Management Skills:
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work closely with workstation teams, security teams, and external partners like Capgemini to ensure smooth operations.
- Stakeholder Management: Skilled in managing relationships and communication between technical support teams, security experts, and business units.
- Task Coordination: Experience in coordinating required actions and following up with multiple teams to meet compliance objectives.
3. Soft Skills:
- Strong Communication: Ability to clearly communicate technical issues and coordinate efforts among geographically dispersed teams.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Proactive in identifying gaps in compliance and taking the necessary steps to resolve them.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in tracking compliance metrics and documenting progress.
4. Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in IT security, systems administration, or vulnerability management roles.
- Experience working in environments with high compliance and security standards.
- Prior experience in a coordination role within large-scale IT operations or managed services is a plus.
5. Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory):
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or similar certifications that indicate expertise in security practices.
- Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (for SCCM and workstation management).
- Tanium Certified Operator (for those experienced with Tanium).
