Technical Skills
- ServiceNow Platform Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, including administration, configuration, and development.
- ServiceNow Portal support experience, preferably knowledge of ESC technology.
- Scripting Languages: Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other scripting languages used within ServiceNow.
- Integration Experience: Knowledge of integrating ServiceNow with other systems using APIs, web services, or integration tools. Knowledge of integration of ServiceNow to another instance of ServiceNow would be appreciated.
- Database Management: Understanding of relational databases and SQL.
- Workflow and Automation: Ability to design, implement, and maintain workflows, business rules, UI policies, and client scripts.
Certifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator: This is a foundational certification and often a minimum requirement.
- Advanced ServiceNow Certifications: Depending on the role, certifications such as Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in IT Service Management (ITSM), Certified Application Developer (CAD), or Certified Application Specialist (CAS) can be required.
- ITIL Certification: Knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) processes and practices is often highly valued.
