Overview:
Seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist for after-hours and weekend support to ensure production continuity at our client's production sites in Leverkusen and Dormagen. This long-term role, beginning in early 2025, provides on-call and emergency on-site IT support.
Responsibilities:
- After-Hours Availability: Remote support Monday-Friday (18:00-24:00) and weekends (8:00-18:00), handling urgent system issues
- Emergency On-Site Support: Travel to production sites for critical hardware issues; urgent responses include tasks like server restarts to avoid production delays
- Incident Management: Rapid troubleshooting and resolution, ensuring minimal production downtime, with incident documentation
- Service Continuity: Work with a partner to provide seamless support, covering alternate shifts as needed
Requirements:
- Technical Skills: Strong in hardware troubleshooting, server management, etc.
- Availability: Flexible for after-hours and weekend work, ready to travel on short notice
- Location: Based near Cologne Area
- Language: fluent German and English
