The Senior Product Director will oversee a global product management team, focusing on Salesforce, CPQ, CRM, and Service Cloud, and is expected to possess related certifications. This leadership role requires someone with a solid background in product vision, strategy, and execution.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the product strategy, ensuring it aligns with the company’s goals.
- Advocate for the product’s vision across customers, partners, employees, and investors.
- Build strong customer relationships, ensuring their voice is heard throughout the development process.
- Manage requirements, specifications, and release plans while incorporating customer feedback.
- Lead cross-functional teams to meet revenue and profitability goals.
- Work with engineering and UX teams to create outstanding product experiences.
- Attract, inspire, and retain top talent within the team.
- Lead financial activities such as investment cases, bookings, and margin analysis, while monitoring product health.
- Establish KPIs to measure product performance and success.
Required Qualifications:
- 15+ years of leadership experience in IT or product management.
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce, CPQ, CRM, and Service Cloud.
- Certifications in Salesforce (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, CPQ Specialist, Service Cloud Consultant).
- Proven ability to drive product strategy and execution.
- Business expertise in MSPs and corporate systems.
- Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
Key Experience:
- Salesforce CPQ: Expertise in configuration, customization, product bundles, and pricing rules.
- Integration: Skilled in integrating Salesforce CPQ with ERP, CRM, and third-party applications (e.g., MuleSoft, NetSuite).
- Technical: Knowledge of Salesforce platform (Apex, Visualforce, SOQL) with the ability to review code and ensure best practices.
- Business Analysis: Experience in gathering and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Problem-Solving: Strong ability to identify and resolve issues in CPQ processes.
- Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and convey technical information clearly.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ERP systems, Oracle EPM, MuleSoft, Snowflake, and Microsoft.
- Expertise in managing business processes and back-office systems.
- Understanding of financial planning, including margin analysis and investment cases.
