We now have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced IT Project Manager with
infrastructure, development, integration and service management experience to join the Regional IT team
based in Liverpool.
In this role, you will report into the European IT Manager and work closely with Regional and Local IT
Managers around Europe. You will be expected to take on the responsibility for the delivery of IT Projects
to specified time, cost and quality measures. There are a wide variety of areas that require Project
Management support for internal projects and business facing deliveries including infrastructure, data,
integration and applications. This is a fast-paced and exciting environment where a 'can-do', and flexible
attitude is essential.
Mission et Responsabilités
Your key responsibilities will include:
• End to end project management of multiple projects - from initiation, definition to delivery and
handover to support
• Planning across all stages of the project lifecycle
• Management of project resources to deliver to the agreed time, cost quality
• Execution of project plan, monitoring progress and taking all necessary actions and escalations
• Provision of accurate project status updates
• Completing Project Closure ensuring all lessons learnt are documented and appropriate actions
assigned to prevent reoccurrence
• Provision of transition documentation to enable the resulting environment to be supported
• Assist with reporting of IT performance across the Region using key reporting tools.
Compétences Requises / Required Skills:
• Good experience and knowledge of project management principles and governance,
including planning, stakeholder management, communication and risk and issue
management.
• Good experience of working with third party IT companies/suppliers.
• Certification and accreditation from industry standard professional body in project
management.
• Experienced customer and business service focus and attention to detail, with
demonstrable experience in business engagement and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills – including the ability to produce clear
and concise written communications.
• Good experience of working as part of a project team in a business and IT change
environment.
• Strong planning and scheduling skills, ensuring that project activities are controlled and coordinated.
• Able to work in an organised and structured manner with a high degree of autonomy
where required.
