For and end client, internationally known, we are seeking a JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Finance Consultant with both technical and functional expertise to lead the implementation, support, and optimization of the JD Edwards Finance module. The ideal candidate will work closely with business users, IT teams, and stakeholders to understand the financial processes, configure the system accordingly, and provide technical solutions that enhance the business’s financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and map business requirements to JD Edwards Finance functionalities, ensuring alignment with the financial objectives of the company.
- Configure and customize JD Edwards Financial modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and Expense Management.
- Provide both functional and technical expertise in implementing integrations between JD Edwards and other financial systems.
- Lead the design, testing, and deployment of JD Edwards solutions for financial processes.
- Develop and implement technical solutions including custom reports, workflows, and data management scripts using JD Edwards tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any system-related issues, collaborating with IT and business teams to identify and fix technical and functional problems.
- Conduct user training and support financial teams in maximizing the capabilities of JD Edwards Financial modules.
- Ensure the system remains compliant with evolving financial regulations and accounting standards.
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne with a focus on Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, FA).
- Strong functional understanding of financial processes, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Expertise in technical development within JD Edwards including UBE (Universal Batch Engine), Orchestrator, and custom development using JD Edwards tools.
- Proven experience in data integration, data migration, and interfacing JD Edwards with external systems.
- Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize JD Edwards performance from both a technical and functional perspective.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with stakeholders, developers, and end-users.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of other JD Edwards modules and integration points.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and experience leading finance projects.
- Experience with JD Edwards upgrades and post-implementation support.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and running reports.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
- JD Edwards certifications are a plus.
